52. It's a podcast where we talk about NGOs

Image
Afef Ajengui , a young Tunisian woman, the fruit of multiple professional experiences in different sectors and working environments, is launching the first podcast talking about NGOs, Associations, non-profits, and foundations etc. The podcast is 100% made in Tunisia: by a Tunisian woman, in Tunisia, to Tunisians and people in the MENA region!  How Did It All Start? For those who don't know her, Afef is considered the babysitter of entrepreneurs in Tunisia. She has worked a lot with them (and still is). She is the perfect advisor for them who knows how to orient them in the right direction to better reach their goal. This all started when she first worked at Cogite , the first coworking space in Tunisia back in 2015. I personally haven't met someone so far from the entrepreneurial ecosystem who doesn't know her! Sharing is Caring Along with her professional experience, Afef has gathered an extremely enriching toolkit in different areas of expertise. "Now, comes the t...

51. Learning Diplomacy by Doing Diplomacy

Image
Last week, I had the chance to be part of a very special ceremony where perseverent young talents were the stars of the gathering. The second graduation ceremony of more than a hundred youths trained and placed by a Tunisian partner called  Education For Employment Tunisie . This ceremony was the perfect opportunity to see that young Tunisian graduates are constantly seeking knowledge and are very committed to the capacity-building programs designed for them to give the best of themselves in their professional life. Watching testimonials of the different beneficiaries, expressing gratitude, and showing how fruitful their learning journey was, made me more than proud of the results. I also had the chance to meet her excellency Josephine Frantzen, the ambassador of the kingdom of the Netherlands in Tunisia, and Mr.  Nasreddine Nsibi , the minister of employment and professional training in Tunisia 🤝 Representing  Hivos  as a pioneering organization working on the...

The year is over, and so is my journey at Flat6Labs .
