I know that blogging is not a "thing" anymore but, I do not know why I consider this space the most free and honest for me to keep my thoughts gathered, and come back years later to reread them (or just share them with those who might be interested).

I have recently been assigned the communications assistant manager position at the Korea Agency for International Cooperation Tunisia Office (KOICA)
Thanks to this position, I have access to a wide network of brilliant people, not only from Tunisia but from all over the world.

This can be showcased through a recent event I attended and had the pleasure of reporting.
The event was the 60th anniversary of Bourguiba School (Institute of Languages in Tunisia) and one of the oldest partners of KOICA in Tunisia.

The festivities were the opportunity to showcase the tremendous work of the institute over 60 whole years.

The audience was mesmerized by the history that the institute went through, the stories the professors have shared, and the achievements they have achieved with the generations of youth taught over decades.

It was amazing to travel to different countries without even taking one single plane. On the same chair, I went to Korea by listening to "Arirang", a very famous song registered at the UNESCO Heritage performed by Tunisian youth, watched the beautiful flamenco performance of a Spanish group of students, and enjoyed the magic voice of a young Tunisian singer performing one of Lotfi Bouchnak's famous songs "ye lella winek".

Working out?  All of the above activities are always, and mainly accompanied by my list of saved podcasts.  I do enjoy listening to them because they keep me focused on what my hands and the rest of my body are doing (magical !) 49. Nos fiançailles: tout, lui et moi

Aujourd'hui, en recevant les photos de nos fiançailles, je parcours les différents albums et je me remémore tous les moments vécus, les blagues racontées, les taquineries partagées et les émotions dégagées pendant cette soirée charmante. Un peu plus de 5 mois de préparatifs, commémorés par cette cérémonie regroupant famille, ami-e-s et collègues. Cela a commencé par le choix de la date, le choix de la bague et les accessoires, ensuite la conception des robes, la sélection des fournisseurs, les profondes recherches, et les heures passées sur Excel pour centraliser toutes ces informations. Ce fut un grand projet dont les fiançailles étaient la cérémonie de clôture (une blague à ne pas faire au bureau!)  Les jours précédant l'événement, on ne parlait que de ça. A table, par messages, pendant les weekends et même pendant les pauses au bureau, la cérémonie des fiançailles était toujours la star des discussions. Pas une seule robe, mais deux!  Ma tante Meryem a toujours été la stylis

53. Le Centre Elife Djerba ouvre grand ses portes

À l'occasion du 18ème sommet de la francophonie , l'inauguration du Centre Elife à Djerba ne pouvait pas mieux tomber! Le projet Elife ne date pas d'hier. L'aventure a commencé en 2019. Ayant déjà fait l'expérience à Béja, Siliana et le Kef, la Fondation de Tunisie pour le Développement a stratégiquement choisi un terrain pas très loin la synagogue Ghriba pour y bâtir un quatrième centre technologique. Le but principal des centres est de mettre à niveau les jeunes diplômé-e-s ainsi que de les aider à l'insertion professionnelle en Tunisie ; en mettant à leur disposition les commodités propices à un apprentissage idéal et au renforcement des capacités. "Ce qui est très brillant par rapport à cet énorme projet, c'est que les décideurs tels que M.Baderdine Ouali, président de la Fondation et M.Hassen Manai, le Directeur Exécutif de la Fondation de Tunisie pour le Développement, sont des personnes dotées d'un sens d'appartenance unique, et ils croi
